		<description>I was without air conditioning for 4 weeks because of this company.  It is well over 100 degrees in Texas.  They left me high and dry and cost me $147.00 in phone bills calling them every day, only to get lies, and more lies.  I have paid into this so called &quot;insurance company&quot; for years, and this is the 2nd time i have used them.  DO NOT PAY THEM A DIME.  THEY ARE A SCAM.</description>

		<description>This is a complete rip off. They pride themselves in providing immediate coverage the minute you purchase their insurance, and providing coverage regardless age, make or model of covered items. Well I purchased their insurance, and the next day my pool filter cracked open because it was old, but they are doing everything to call it a pre-existing condition because according to the idiot who came out said the filter was packed with dirt, and that dirt couldn&#039;t have been built up in a day. Hello the product is 15 years old, the filter was not even that dirty, it was maintained. I am frustrated with their lack of logical thinking. They are going to loose a lot more by not covering this product, not a good business decision on their part!</description>

		<description>I just got screwed by this company too - had a problem with the garage door opener, which seemed to be related to sensors, they sent a technician who said it was a bad sensor but refused to fix it unless I buy a new garage door from him (it has a cosmetic damage which has no affect on functioning whatsoever), and still charged me $55. First American gave me some story that my door is broken and that I need to replace it first,and that my claim was denied. I will try to collect my money back from them. :(((( I didn&#039;t buy this insurance, it was given to me by the sellers, but I thought I could just get things fixed, but it turned out to be a scam.</description>

		<description>i have a small claims court date set for this week Feb. 25th at 10 am.  They are flying to Indpls from Calif. for this. I bought my home in late 2008 and discovered that my air conditioning unit was not cooling efficiently. They sent a service repair man and that service repair man told me that the unit needed to be replaced but he also stated that First American would not replace it after only one service call.  The service repair man told me that he would get the unit going for now but that I needed to call in a few weeks and report another problem since he did not know how long his fix would last and at that time he would recommend a new unit.  After a few weeks I placed another service call because the same problem occurred.  First American sent a different service man and said the same, that my coils were ruined and that the unit needed to be replaced.  First American never replaced my unit after a long battle with them because I had to pay out of pocket for expenses that they did not cover.  The unit was over 15 years old and they only wanted to replace the air conditioning coil.  I had many AC contractors come out and all stated that the whole unit needed to be replaced and not just the coil.   I ended up having to pay to replace the whole unit.  It has been nothing but a struggle to get this company to honor what their brochure states.  I am recommending to all my friends and family to avoid this company, plus my brother who is a Realtor is no longer recommending this company.</description>
